Product details

Upgrade your manual winch to an electric winch with this electronic retrofit kit for LEWMAR EVO winches. The set contains everything you need to upgrade your winch.

The ELS version is supplied with an electronic control box that protects the winch against overloading. The control box ensures safe operation up to the working load of the winch. If this load is exceeded, the winch switches off automatically. Only when the load has fallen below the safe working load can the winch be put back into operation. The ELS also has a thermal switch for switching off the motor; the switch ensures that the motor is automatically switched off in the event of overheating.
The ELS version is also particularly suitable if the winch is used on a genoa sheet and needs to start up slowly.

Hello I want to buy a Lewmar Electric Conversion Kit for EVO Winches 45 ST, I see there is 2 type E and ELS, but I can t see the difference, there is still a big price difference between one and the other, can you give me some details ? Regards

Hello ELS Box: is load controlled. At high pressure the winch/motor turns more slowly for optimal trim E - Relay: simple relay box with one speed Price difference around €800
