The vest should be tested before use. Remove the sensor element, inflate the vest, go into the water, let the vest dry, reattach the automatic element, repack the vest. I was expecting a ready-made vest ?? The manufacturer should check whether the vest is suitable for use! First of all, the vests lie on board untested and wait for the first use.

ALLE Westen werden gebrauchsfertig geliefert und sind sofort einsatzbereit. Es ist uns unverständlich in welcher Gebrauchsanweisung das obengenannten geschrieben steht?

Im Zuge einer Wartung (nach etwa 2 Jahren) kann der Nutzer die Weste in der beschriebenen Weise selber überprüfen. Es sollte allerdings immer der Service einer zertifizierten Wartungsstation vorgezogen werden.
