I purchased this antenna in lieu of another Lowrance LGC3000 used in connection with the Lowrance LCX 27C. Just installed instant satellite connection and position detection even if the test was made under a shelter where the boat is currently retired. The other antenna in the same condition has never been connected. I am confident that at sea it will be a great navigational aid.

Product details

The Lowrance Point-1 GPS antenna is the right choice if you need an extremely fast and accurate GPS signal. As a special highlight, the POINT-1 offers a heading signal for any speed that can be used for radar-overlay on the chartplotter.
 
The antenna provides extremely accurate and quick updates of your current position. This is how it prevents "jumping and stuttering" on the display.
 
In addition the POINT-1 provides the following data: Magnetic variation, rotation speed (rate of turn) and location information. It can also be conveniently connected to your chartplotter (e.g. Lowrance, Simrad, B&G, Raymarine and Garmin) via the NMEA2000 bus.
The antenna is fully waterproof and very easily installed. Fits antenna feet with 1 "14 UNF threads. The 1.2 m long connecting cable is firmly connected to the antenna.
