Hi, we have an older Simrad IS15 network onboard. I like to add a few NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 sensors data into the existing network. Do I need a starter kit for this, or can I just add the: NAVICO Adapter Cable SimNet to Micro-C / female Item number: 60708 to it and then add for example this: NMEA2000 NMEA2000 4-way Splitter / Micro-C Item number: 61040 and then attach: ACTISENSE NGX-1-USB NMEA 2000 to USB Adapter Item number: 93981 To feed the NMEA 0183 and 2000 data into the system & PC? Thanks for your help.

Would it be possible to specify a 3m cable instead of the specified 5m network cable? Sure, I can roll it up, but neater is better ;)
Dear customer, this is a set. Other cable lengths are available seperately.
As I understand it, the power supply is supposed to go as close to the middle of the network as possible. How on earth is this possible in a kit with a 5m cable and a 0.5m cable?
:)) Don't take it literally. I mean, if that's all the backbone, 5 meters, forget about the middle of the network. I have a 37ft boat, the NMEA network is 15 meters long. Here I need to find the middle. In 5 meters... relax. ;)
