The FLIR Ocean Scout Pro II thermal imaging camera is the perfect solution for increased safety and better orientation at sea - at night, in fog and in poor visibility conditions. With a detection range for humans of 1000 metres, it has twice the viewing range of the conventional Ocean Scout Pro. The compact thermal imaging monocular was specially developed for maritime use and enables people, navigational aids, flotsam and obstacles on the water to be recognised quickly.
With state-of-the-art FLIR thermal imaging technology and a wide18° field of view, the Ocean Scout Pro offers maximum overview and reliable target detection even under challenging conditions.
Featuring a high-resolution 640 × 480 VOx thermal sensor and a fast refresh rate of 30 Hz, the thermal imaging camera delivers razor-sharp images in real time. People or heat sources can be detected at a distance of up to 1000 metres - ideal for night-time driving, man-overboard situations or search and rescue operations.
The robust design, which is IP67-certified, reliably protects the camera from water, salt spray and harsh weather conditions. At the same time, the ergonomic one-handed operation with an intuitive 4-button layout ensures quick and easy use – even in stressful situations or in rough seas.
Thanks to integrated Wi-Fi and the FLIR Scout Pro app, live images can be transferred directly to an iOS device and images and videos can be easily saved and shared. Four different colour palettes enable optimal display of the thermal images in different weather and light conditions. The powerful battery life of up to 6 hours makes the Ocean Scout Pro II a reliable companion on long voyages and offshore adventures.
