Product details

The JOHNSON Aqua Void bilge pump features an enhanced motor and high-flow impeller for increased efficiency and a higher flow rate. Reliability and performance guaranteed in any boating conditions. Thanks to its compact design, the pump can also be easily installed in tight bilge spaces. The Aqua Void features an innovative quick-change motor connection, which allows you to replace the cartridge motor without having to remove the entire pump.

The UltimaSwitch electronic float switch is included in the delivery contents. The float switch activates the pump when the water level reaches 50 mm or more and switches it off again when the water level drops below 20 mm. A three second delay prevents false starts. UltimaSwitch is a highly reliable contactless switch that uses no mechanical parts or toxic mercury to sense the water level.

The actual delivery rate of a bilge pump may deviate from the manufacturer's specifications, as it depends largely on the installation and power supply conditions. If the battery is fully charged, it will provide the necessary voltage to operate the pump at full power, but if the battery is only partially charged, the flow rate can be significantly reduced. The cable cross-section also plays an important role - if the supply lines are too long or too thin, voltage losses will occur, which will impair the performance of the pump. The hose diameter used also has an impact on efficiency: The larger the diameter, the lower the flow resistance and the better the actual delivery rate of the pump.
