Johnson SPX impellers - the best!!! These impellers don't use a setscrew as a drive pin, but rather a threadless bolt. That's how it should be, because it protects the pump shaft. All other aftermarket impellers, with their completely pointless threads, damage the groove in the shaft due to the radial movements caused by the pressure cam. Furthermore, the blade material is more elastic and doesn't crack as easily.

What makes MC97 material so special?
MC97 is a rubber compound specially developed by Johnson that offers a number of advantages:

Longer service life: Signs of fatigue such as cracking or breakage of the impeller blades are reduced.
Improved self-priming: MC97 ensures excellent self-priming so that the pump starts quickly and reliably.
Minimised swelling: Compared to conventional materials used for impellers such as neoprene, MC97 absorbs less water, which prevents swelling and ensures the pump's functionality.
