Product details

The WindyPlug+ is an NMEA2000 interface that feeds measured wind data from wired LCJ wind sensors into the NMEA2000 network.
The WindyPlug is directly connected to the NMEA2000 network via an NMEA2000 T-piece, and data such as air pressure, wind speed, wind direction, wind temperature, and wind speed will be displayed on all compatible instruments (e.g., from B&G, Lowrance, Simrad, Furuno, Humminbird, Raymarine) that are connected to the network.

Plug it in and it works.
It does what it's supposed to. However, as is always the case with water sports, it's quite expensive for what it is.

Far too fragile
The real problem with Windyplugs is that they're far too fragile. This is the fourth or fifth time I've had to replace it. And there's really no alternative if you want pressure and data in n2k. I hope this new version lasts a bit longer... (Or at least that it breaks down during the warranty period ;-)
