With the PRO-NDC-1E, up to ten NMEA0183 data sources can be combined at a single point. This allows chartplotters, GPS devices, and onboard sensors to exchange information smoothly and in real time. Configuration is simple thanks to the intuitive web-based interface, which replaces the need to manually enter and edit text strings. The device is RINA type-approved, making it suitable for both recreational boating and professional marine applications, including certified installations. Several status LEDs provide quick visual diagnostics so you can instantly see whether everything is running as it should. In addition, NMEA-0183 streaming via Ethernet allows easy integration with existing Ethernet-enabled devices and systems. To protect and isolate connected instruments, the multiplexer is equipped with five opto-isolated NMEA-0183 inputs and two ISO-Drive NMEA-0183 outputs.5
It also features a dedicated bidirectional, fully isolated serial port (ISO-Drive) that can be used as an additional input or output, as well as an Ethernet port for direct or network connections. Input and output baud rates can be freely configured, allowing the multiplexer to combine data streams and convert transmission speeds when needed. Additional highlights include two independent auto-switch virtual inputs with prioritisation, battery isolation, diagnostic LEDs, optional DIN-rail mounting, and official type approval.
