TX-Rail solar modules from SUNWARE have been specially designed to be attached to the railing. The solar module can be easily attached to the upper railing wire using snap hooks and, thanks to the light reflection on the water surface, excellent solar power yields are achieved even in the vertical orientation. In order to optimally align the solar modules with the sun, the modules are equipped with TX risers, which allow the module to be tilted. The module is equipped with a 3-metre 2x2.5 mm² cable, which is routed to the upper railing cable on the support to the deck. Also included in the delivery are a 10 m cable, a waterproof plug and socket, and a cover cap.
The solar modules are based on the high-quality TX series from SUNWARE. Each wing of a multi-wing module operates independently! If one element is shaded, this interconnection technology specially developed by SUNWARE ensures that the other wings continue to produce full power. The solar modules are surrounded by a sturdy textile border with Tenax buttons.
Installation
The TX-Rail 22052 is attached to the upper wire rope using the snap hooks included in the delivery contents. For this purpose, special D-rings are sewn into the hinges. In addition, two TX-Riser Twins are included with the module for the display function. These are attached to the back of the module with LOXX elements on the textile edge. The module can be completely folded up even with TX risers installed. Only if you want to lay the module flat do you need to remove the TX risers. The module is attached to the railing using the carabiner hooks provided and the D-rings.
First, the outer wing is passed over the lower wire rope and then hooked onto the upper wire rope. If the module is to hang vertically on the railing, the two wings are connected to each other at the lower edge of the fabric using two LOXX fasteners. This prevents the module from starting to swing due to wind or waves.
Depending on requirements, the module can be extended using the TX risers. To do this, open the LOXX fasteners at the lower edge of the fabric and lift the inner wing until the TX riser touches the lower wire rope. The TX riser is then fixed in the centre of the wire rope using the rubber band.
The railing remains in place on all modules at all times as a secure handrail for the crew!
Made in Germany!
All SunWare products are developed, tested and produced in Germany. The front covers of the modules also originate from Germany. By doing this, the high quality requirements of this particular product and its materials can also be precisely followed.
