I have only bought the replacement hose set for 15.90 euros, to have a probe for my oil pump with which I can suck the oil over the Ölmessstutzen the car. The set consists of 3 flexible tubes of various diameters similar to those used as a probe at Aral petrol stations. Two of them, the probes, have inside a thin metal rod, so that the tube remains as straight as possible. Super quality - also works with hot engine oil without the probe being damaged. I write that, because before the purchase had given contrary information and in my (non-Pela) Ölabsaug electric pump in the manual is smooth max. 60 ° C (a laugh when you drive the car warm to generate low-viscosity oil). From the quality of the probes, I can imagine that those who rave about the Pela pumps in the car forum do not do this unfounded.

This professional oil change pump reaches the required vacuum power to extract the oil out of the engine with only 4 to 15 strokes. The transparent housing allows constant monitoring of the amount of oil extracted. Features an automatic shut-off which stops the operation as soon as the maximum quantity is reached. Maintenance-free. Two models available: 4 or 6.5 litres.

This product is more expensive in other online stores (for my part, purchase made as part of the oil change of my car) In terms of efficiency: it sucks hard (I didn \ 't have left much in the crankcase. In the context of use: really pump 7/8 times even if after 3 times the oil is already rising (obviously hot oil). Ps: I have removed the oil filter, reassembled the new one and pumped a second time to remove the rest (a few ml) I think as efficient as in the garage, at the sight of the speed that they put the drain plug back in ... This is my experience.
