PELA Oil Extractor Pump

Great stuff. Needed for oil replacement

A very solid oil extractor! \ R \ nI use it myself for my last year completed and partly self-built motorboat.

Für sone Plastikdose auch nicht gerade billig, aber das Ding ist wirklich unverzichtbar beim Ölwechsel am Boot. Es tut was es soll und auch wirklich ohne Matscherei. Selbst beim umfüllen in den Rückgabekanister geht kein Tropfen daneben, der Ausguss ist perfekt konstruiert.

I’m very pleased with the purchase, I can only recommend. I use it mainly for gardening purposes but I could easily use it for any other purpose.\r\nEasy to use with high vacuum power with only a few pump strokes, still has the particularly useful advantage of having an automatic stopping system whenever the container, in this case 6,5l capacity, meets full, thus preventing accidental spills or stress on the pump mechanism.\r\nThe support system as well as the whole mechanism is pretty solid with a robust, balanced structure and shown to be resistant to the elements and suitable for intensive and continuous outdoor usage. At the level of handholds for transportation it comes pretty easy with the two incorporated handles, both very resistant and inspiring confidence when comes to move the 6,5lt capacity recipient. One of the handles is made of resistant plastic and placed on the top of the pump and the second support is a metal reinforced steel handle placed at the basis that facilitates maneuvering to lift and carry and emptying the container when full. All the base structure is reinforced tough very resistant plastic which gives a very stable supporting structure. \r\nIn terms of pipes and their connecting systems there are some remarks to be done and therefore there is some space for small but significant improvements, which may truly enhance the equipment significantly, in spite of the real high performance it already achieves; \r\nThe equipment is provided with two quite resistant rubber hoses which can be connected to the main hose, this one being connected to the engine via a special connector (one piece only, attached to the hose) which fits directly into the pump. The downside of this solution, in spite of the elevated efficacy on delivering power pump or easiness on connecting and disconnecting the piece to move and empty the recipient, is the conection at the level of the pump, which only allow to connect the hose with the integrated connector. If you want to use the pump as a fixed pump and connect more than one hose, then you will have to buy a second hose to connect to the pump with another connector.\r\n The supplied main hose connected with one of the extensions included on the package provides approximately 1.5m total length which is usually sufficient, but the main tube leaving the equipment could be 50 cm longer. The included connectors for the extensions hoses while providing a tight connection between hoses, are not practical so the equipment would gain a lot from these minor corrections, on the hoses lengths and on their connectors particularly.\r\n\r\nA great purchase, high performance pump with great quality construction, slightly above the price of other alternative options but very powerful, reliable, robust and practical. I recommend it highly.\r\n\r\nRegarding delivery and packaging, nothing to report. Fast delivery (3 days delivery, I guess) and everything was beautifully packed.Very pleased with the service.
