Unfortunately the product description is deficient. The service however outstanding. Everything works when you have understood Seatalk ng. Why, however, the new generation does not understand the old one remains unclear. The fact that you have to pay extra for the errors of the construction also, Raymarine appreciates significantly. However, SVB has provided good explanations. I am fully satisfied.

The Raymarine SeaTalk1/ SeaTalkng converter allows communication for devices within the SeaTalk1 to a SeaTalkng network. It is compatible with ST40, ST60+, Raystar 125 GPS and LifeTag MOB systems.

The SeaTalk¹/ SeaTalk^ng converter is a practicle solution for network connections.

Simple « plug-and-play » connection to SeaTalk^ng
Works with SeaTalk¹ instruments, GPS antennas and LifeTag.
SeaTalkng^ng supplied components allow basic connection to the instrument system
