Product details

The Raymarine wireless handset is a fully functional second handset that gives you access to all the functions of the Ray63 and Ray73 VHF radios from another location on board. The handset has an extra large LCD display and high contrast text and graphics for day and night visibility. The intuitive symbols and menus make the system easy to use. The included hub module as well as the adapter cable (length: 220 mm) are both required for connection.
The hub module connects directly to the system's transmitter-receiver module and supports the addition of up to three wireless operator stations (optionally available). In addition to full access to all VHF functions, you can also easily communicate between the secondary control station and the main radio by means of intercom between the two stations.

A complete catastrophe

The device isn't worth a cent. I had the Raymarine dealer install it. The connection keeps dropping. Even after completely replacing the handset, there was no improvement. I switched off all other WiFi devices. No improvement. I'm going to throw it away now and switch to the wired alternative. What a waste of money.

es tut uns leid, dass Sie mit unserer kabellosen Zweitstation nicht zufrieden sind.
Da Ihr Gerät bereits getauscht wurde, gehen wir davon aus, dass die Probleme eher bei der WiFi-Kanalauswahl oder dem Einbaustandort des Wifi-Hubs liegen. Bitte prüfen Sie die unterschiedlichen WiFi-Kanäle im Menüpunkt „Wireless Hub Setup“, dieses bringt oftmals deutlich bessere Ergebnisse. Sollte dieses nicht weiterführen, sollte der Einbauort des Hubs überprüft werden. Wenn dieser durch andere Geräte oder Schränke stark abgeschirmt wird, muss der Hub entweder an einem anderen Ort montiert oder die Antenne des Hubs mit Hilfe des 5m Verlängerungskabels A80541 so positioniert werden, dass eine ungestörte Verbindung möglich ist.
