Fortunately, I have not had any experience with it, fortunately, as I have only recently purchased it, so I have not yet assembled it. I have been looking for this solution for a long time and consider it vital for survival if, as a one-handed glider, hanging from the lifebelt, you should go overboard. It would be the only way to get back into the cockpit! In that case, you can not get to the ladder because you are in the water at the side of the boat, and the lifeline is too short for that. Only possibility therefore 2 rolled up rescue ladders Sb. + Bb., At the side of the cockpit at the Reeling, mounted! Should every one-hand glider, in addition to the Lifebelt, as survival essential more important than the life jacket, own. Lifeline so that you stay connected with the boat, escorts to get back into the cockpit !!! Moin, Segelopa!

Product details

This rescue - and safety ladder increases safety on board! Supplied in a bag with 5 steps, a handle and two flaps for attachment to the railing. The handle serves as a handhold for the person overboard. Pulling it opens the bag and deploys the emergency ladder, allowing the person to climb back on board easily using the five steps. A small weight is attached beneath the bottom rung to weigh down the ladder, so that it slides easily out of the bag when the handle is pulled.
