Sika's Primer-290 DC is a solvent-based, transparent, slightly yellowish primer that reacts with moisture and forms a thin, film-forming layer. This layer serves as a bonding element between the substrate and the adhesive.

The primer is used to increase the adhesion strength on teak, mahogany, Oregon pine and polyester-based GRP.

This product is intended for experienced users and it is recommended to test it beforehand with original materials under the respective conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
