Product details
For applications which need a strong sound / acoustic insulation, the low-density and lose-celled D2600 foam by Cellofoam is a perfect alternative to traditional foam or mineral fibre products.
Especially suitable for applications where contact with moisture may occur. D 2600 does not absorb humidity and is easily cuttable with a carpet knife. Can be fixed with contact adhesive. Despite its very low density (32 kg/m³) it performs very well in the low and medium frequencies reaching sound attenuation values that usually can only be achieved with heavy acoustic material. Fire class B1 (flame retardant, self-extinguishing). Sheet material 100 x 70 cm, colour: black.
Matching contact adhesive is available separately.

Any advice to reduce engine noise which is very loud in main cabin directly above engine? SVB offer sound reduction material for the engine room. My old Nelson 32 does not have an engine room!!!!! Would the SVB material be the solution? If so which SVB material is best? Peadar - Ireland
