Excellent to work with, good sound insulation, Alubutyl glued underneath as a heavy mat. TOP Have the foam in 40mm and where it is not otherwise Gin in 25 mm thickness used. The first layer of AluButhyl is glued onto the wood as a heavy layer, the foam boards above it with the special adhesive (such as Pattex). Finally, aluminum foil from the saunas. With new engine bearings, the engine is felt in the cockpit by half the quieter. Foam is very stable and can be cut well. No grief. You have to be very careful not to leave \ "windows \" for the sound. Completely glued on the edges and edges brings good results. Good buy.

Especially suitable for applications where contact with moisture may occur. D 2600 does not absorb humidity and is easily cuttable with a carpet knife. Can be fixed with contact adhesive. Despite its very low density (32 kg/m³) it performs very well in the low and medium frequencies reaching sound attenuation values that usually can only be achieved with heavy acoustic material. Fire class B1 (flame retardant, self-extinguishing). Sheet material 100 x 70 cm, colour: white.

Matching contact adhesive is available separately.
