Easy to assemble, fits and works Compared to the original starter motor of the Volvo MD11C, this starter is slightly narrower. The starter connector had to be recrimped to a ring terminal. Otherwise, installation was easy and everything fits perfectly. The new starter works flawlessly. The delivery time was very short at two days (to Switzerland), and the price pleasantly surprised me.

The starter is now working, there's no question about that. However, for one thing, there was no indication of the necessary wiring. This was at least briefly confusing, as the connections are arranged slightly differently than on the original Volvo Penta. And that brings us to the crucial point: the product display in the shop pretends to be the original product being offered here. But that's not the case. It's a real shame that such measures are being resorted to here.
