STERLING battery-to-battery chargers allow the charging of an additional battery (e.g., bow thruster or windlass batteries) and ensure that the primary battery (e.g., the starter battery) is not unintentionally discharged. As soon as the voltage on the primary battery reaches more than 13.2 V, the secondary battery begins to charge. Very simple installation, since the existing system usually doesn't have to be changed.
