Robust component and easy assembly I had to install the cover as a result of a diesel plague because unfortunately there was no inspection hatch in my stainless steel tank. Cutting out the hole with a hole saw (159mm and 160mm respectively) wasn't possible with my means, so I ended up using a jigsaw. Even if the hole made by the jigsaw is not 100% round, the seal of the built-in part is excellent. The installation of the cover was very easy after sawing the hole, tighten the screws, done. The product convinced me and I would use it again at any time. The built-in part makes a very robust impression and now I can look into the tank at any time without any problems or (if hopefully no longer necessary) clean the tank.

Product details

Universal inspection cover with flange-in-ring design, which allows you to easily open the cover even after it has been closed for a long time. The lid has a counter flange with a rubber gasket and a 159 mm opening in the tank. Afterwards you only have to tighten the four mounting screws which are included.
Thanks to "clamp and seal" design, installation is very easy, only a 159 mm hole is needed to be drilled in the tank. Opening does not require additional effort as the pressure required for sealing is only on the outer ring.

Dear customer, no you will need to use your own equipment to cut the hole in the tank and remove all burrs. Preferably use a holesaw (159 mm, 6 1/4” diam.). Thanks.
