Excellent buy!!. I installed this unit on a 10 meter sailboat with a cabin smaller than usual at this length. I chose to put it in a bulkhead and the connection in gooseneck directed to a side of the ceiling. The deposit of paraffin just below hiding in a drum. The whole installation was very simple and I made it personally except the cover hole. The heating works perfectly and heats one cabin and two small cabinets in about 15 minutes. No annoying odors. Fan noise is tolerable but can be improved. Overall satisfied for the price it has.

Installation in the boat requires meticulousness Hello everyone, Nothing to say about the SVB service, always on top ... On the product, I had a "WALLAS 1300" heater in the 90s which died of old age and which worked very well. That's why I ordered a new one. The latter is more compact which makes sense 30 years later. The chimney flue went from 3760 to 2845 therefore obliged to change the bridgehead. And be careful with old boats, check the quality of your electrical line because 2 volts less, the fan turns but the boiler does not turn on. Finally all this once solved the device blows hot air, very hot and you can lower the temperature by acting (anti-clockwise) on the blue resistance visible on the underside of the device and against it from the mouth air outlet (count 18 to 20 pump pulses per minute to have 22 to 23 in the boat). This is not in the doc ... Regards Michel

Quiet heater Needed small heater, to fit in small compartment. Was really fast installation, I bought all additional parts like tank, chimney, others from SVB. Its quiet, low on petrol. Don't used it in cold conditions, but when is 10-16 degrees outside it is enough for 31 footer sailboat.

Product details

The Wallas 1300 is an ideal heater to heat a spacious cabin or cockpit. It is a very compact heating device and has everything you need in one single piece of housing: a fuel pump, operating switches and a warm air output. This heater is therefore very easy to install.

Thanks to the laminar burn process, the noise level is very low. Furthermore, no combustion noises are projected through the exhaust pipe, allowing your boating neighbors to enjoy peace and quiet.
