Wireless Multi Wind System

Product used on a 36 footer both outside and inside without problem; the aerial placed at the top of the mast. There remains the relatively high price and knowing its resistance over time.

The wind system is used on an Archambault Surprise. Mounting on the mast top possible without any problems. The wireless transmission to the instrument works flawlessly, no maintenance required, the measurements are accurate and are clearly shown on the display. The price could be a little lower. The night lighting should be a little brighter in the brightest level. Nevertheless, I would buy exactly this system again.

Super easy to use and install

I use the product on a 18m steel boat. The first anemometer I bought in 2018 (same model, Raymarine MN100-2) had a significantly better range and higher transmission power. When assembling the second, recently purchased model (2023), the transmission power was no longer nearly sufficient, although the radio link was identical, as were the assembly points. In order to use the device, I had to change the position of the receiver greatly, which results in disadvantages when using it.

I actually found the device good, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it again, but unfortunately, like many industrial products, it is supposedly the same quality but significantly worse internally due to greed for profit. For that reason I wouldn't buy it again. George Gundacker
