The Dehler 29 is an 8.75 metre long and 2.95 metre wide yacht built between 1977 and 2003, which sails noticeably more sportily than many pure cruising boats and is still suitable for weekends with a crew. The tidy cockpit for quick manoeuvres, the direct rudder response and the well-balanced balance, which remains controlled even in stronger winds, are popular. Top features are the efficient hull shape for good upwind performance, solid GRP construction and a cabin that offers storage space and usable berths without frills. If you like travelling fast, you will get a boat that works well on both inland and coastal waters and reacts immediately when trimmed. Compared to the Dehler 28, it appears larger, stiffer and is designed more for speed, making the Dehler 29 a popular choice for sailors looking for sporty sailing, solid substance and a size suitable for everyday use in a proven concept.
