Description
The Dufour 38 Classic from Dufour Yachts is a well-balanced cruising sailing yacht that combines comfort, space and solid sailing characteristics. At around 11.79 metres long, 3.85 metres wide and with a draught of around 1.90 metres, it offers generous interior space with a typical 2 to 3-cabin layout, room for up to six people, a bright saloon and a practical galley. The top features include good-natured handling, balanced hull design and stable handling, which also provides safety on coastal cruises. The theoretical hull speed is around 7.6 knots, which means efficient progress for her size. The practical deck layout and ergonomic cockpit are particularly appreciated. Compared to the Dufour 36 Classic, the Dufour 38 Classic offers more living space, slightly greater stability and comfort for longer voyages. She was built from 1994 to 2009.
