Works perfectly, the only downside: the price and the attractiveness for thieves... Tip: If the pegs for the upper and lower shrouds are right next to each other, one Smartpin per shroud screw is sufficient, which is inserted into the upper hole (Want) and also the Both turnbuckles are connected to each other by a thinner cord. Effective, simple, practical
Securing the turnbuckles has always been a bit of a fiddly affair. Especially with the risk of parts bouncing overboard and disappearing into the water never to be seen again. This system is simpler but just as effective. Furthermore, assuming the bolt size is correct, they fit the various makes of turnbuckles without any problems.
Sure, they can be removed just as easily by others who have a "spontaneous" need, but in my case, they're well covered by covers and hopefully remain out of reach of unauthorized access.

Dear Tom, it depends on the use. The SMARTPin Velcro tape lends approx. 50 % grip after 100 "cycles".
