The new Raymarine EV-100 autopilot ensures easy self-control of your boat, difficult calibration is no longer necessary. Due to the intelligent EV-sensor, the autopilot monitors multiple ship movements in all directions and automatically adjusts the steering to match existing sea conditions, without the user having to adjust any other settings. A further big advantage of the autopilot is flexibility of installation. The device itself can be installed where it is easiest for you to access, while the EV-sensor can be mounted where it makes most sense to you, no matter if above or below deck. The sensor core is protected against water ingress to IPx6 and IPx7 standards. The various components are easily connected to each other via SeaTalk (NMEA2000), and all cables required are included.

Hello, I have the st4000+ onboard at the moment and would like to modernise with this unit. What do I need to integrate with my current instrument package? Thanks in advance.
If your current older or newer instrument package is Raymarine branded the EV-100 can be intergrated directly via SeaTalk 1 or SeaTalk NG. No further accessories necessary.
Hello, thank you for this information. Do I need to order any additional items other then what’s included in this kit? Thanks, Louis
The EV-100 P70s Wheel Pilot Pack does not include the rudder sensor. Does it mean the rudder sensor is not needed? Nevertheless, ACU-100 does have the input for the rudder sensor. Also, installation instruction suggests connecting the rudder sensor. Can anyone explain if I need to buy and install the rudder sensor? Thanks.
You do not have to use the rudder position sensor and especially with the EV100 systems this is often not technically feasible. The EV autopilot also works without this sensor. But it works better with this sensor. The more information an autopilot has, the better the performance.
