Excellent We are very hesitant to buy because it is very expensive! But upon receipt of the product you immediately see that it is professional equipment! Heavy, solid and very waterproof. The only downside is the lack of hinges, so you have to prevent the lid from falling into the water by securing it to the frame with a little piece of garcette....

NOTE!
Galvanic currents can cause considerable damage to aluminium hatches. For this reason, the hatch should always be fitted with an anode.
Additionally, the hatch should only be installed using blind rivets made of aluminium to prevent corrosion. If the hatch is mounted with stainless steel screws, the plastic eyelets included in the delivery must be used.

Expensive but a feast for the eyes

First impressions of this hatch are that it is solid and well built. However, I would have liked if a template had been included though, as it is always nerve-wracking to make large holes in your boat. I managed to make one myself and the installation went smoothly. Now time will tell if the paint and aluminum alloy can withstand the harsh environment. I hope so as I really like this hatch.
