Product details

Note:

Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information prior to use.
A further development of STANDARD, the proven SEATEC Antifouling. STANDARD PRO is a universal, self-polishing antifouling for sailing yachts, dinghies and motor yachts, based on bioactive, organic and copper compounds. Due to the self-polishing effect, there is always an active layer on the surface and thick layers don't accumulate over the years. An additional coat of the same quality can be applied directly onto the existing antifouling. Thinner: Antifouling Thinner. Yield: 10 m²/l.

Processing instructions

Older self-polishing antifoulings can be painted over without issue after thorough cleaning. A special primer is not necessary in this case.

For coated surfaces
  • In good condition: Remove fouling, impurities and paint residues completely and then sand wet with 80-120 grit sandpaper (not dry!). If existing antifouling is not compatible or unknown, seal with suitable barrier coat.
  • In poor condition: Remove all antifouling residues.

GRP/Blank gelcoat: Make sure the surface is clean, dry, dust-free and in a generally good condition. Then prime the surface with Plasmotec or with Epotec (osmosis protection). Then apply two coats of STANDARD PRO.

Steel/lead and wood: Make sure the surface is clean, dry, dust-free and in a generally good condition. Then prime the surface with Plasmotec or with Epotec to protect the hull from corrosion. Then apply two coats of STANDARD PRO.

Not suitable for application on aluminium or older PTFE antifoulings!

Kyllä ovat toimittaneet kotiovelle tänäkin keväänä ja edullisesti (8,90 eur) .Varmaankin samat lämpötilat kuin suomessa myytävillä antifoulingeilla, olen käyttänyt Seatecia jo 3 vuotta ainakin ja hyvin on toiminut.Käyttöohjeet löytyvät enlanniksi muistaakseni samoilta sivuilta kuin maalikin.

Ihan hyvä tuote, ehkä parempi kuin monet kalliimmat. Olen ohentanut ja tulos on ollut hyvä. Ymmärtääkseni normaali maalauslämpötila eli ei pakkanen.

Super maali.Olen käyttänyt useamman sesongin.+10C minimi. Syksyllä kevyt painepesu ja puhdas näkitön pinta.

Hello! I am very satisfied with this antifouling. Is it possible that you ask the factory make colour dark grey. I think that may be very polular because very often new boats has that colour waterline or hole hull. Best regards Olli

Answer

Hi Olli, I used black color and I´ll think, it´s as good as dark grey. At least in my boat with white hull, black antifoulding looks great.
