Hello I bought this weather vane to install with its antenna. There I note the weather vane and not the antenna which it seems very correct. The wind vane is really gadgets, I have doubts that it resists 40 knots of wind. So I preferred to remove it immediately after installation to avoid having to go up to 13m for disassembly.

Hello Raymond, this is only the wind indicator and not an VHF antenna. The antenna has order no #73103#. When connected to an AIS Splitter (#95341#) you can use this antenna for VHF and AIS. Greetings SVB-Bremen

Yes, the #73031# is an antenna combined with Windex. But you still need an antenna splitter VHF/AIS.

Thanks for your help. The 73031 requires an "N" type connector to join to the coaxial cable. Is coax cable 52646 suitable and can you suggest a product code for a suitable N type connector? Regards, Raymond.
