Hook is OK, line is too small

I meant to order the 10mm (38in) version but I got the 8mm (516in) hook. Might have been me but the website interface is not very clear. The hook is fine on its own. The line is too thin and I replaced it with 16mm nylon and used a soft shackle to join the hook to a hard eyesplice.
