Better than the old model with A-battery The problems of the previous model are gone, which is a significant improvement (the battery had to be additionally secured with tape, and the light would often switch on unintentionally). However, after a maximum of 5 years, it will only be fit for disposal, including the lithium battery.

Product details

This buoyant LED rescue light from PLASTIMO with integrated lithium battery automatically triggers on contact with water. The integrated float keeps the rescue light in an upright position on the surface of the water. With a light intensity of 3 candelas and duration of over 12 hours, the chance of being rescued at sea is increased significantly. The wiring and lithium battery are encased in polyurethane foam to prevent oxidation. Delivery contents includes a plastic holder and 2.65 m long attachment line. Can be mounted in any position without risk of accidental activation. SOLAS approval. Dimensions (ØxH): 100 x 220 mm. Battery life: 5 years.

Please note that this product is specifically designed for use in seawater and should not be used in fresh water, such as lakes or rivers.
