SEASTAR TELEFLEX B700SS Single lever control / for sailboats

The SEASTAR / TELEFLEX (TFX) B700SS single lever control was specially developed for demanding maritime watersports applications. This high-performance B700SS single-lever control combines throttle and gearstick functions in a single, ergonomically designed lever and is therefore aimed at sailing boats that require a reliable and seaworthy control solution. The round shape of the shift lever prevents rope from catching.

Design and Functionality
The Seastar B700SS single-lever control features a round, rubberized lever head that prevents lines from snagging, allowing for clean operation. The B700SS single-lever control operates in dual mode: it effortlessly controls both the throttle and the gear shifting. An adjustable throttle friction allows for individual customisation of the lever guidance, increasing operational precision at sea. A neutral warm-up button enables engine start in idle, while the control can only be activated at low RPM – a clear protection for the gearbox.

Technical Data and Installation
The robust Seastar B700SS single-lever control is built on a zinc die-cast frame, equipped with gold-passivated steel plates and a highly impact-resistant ABS decorative cover. It can be installed both horizontally and vertically, on port or starboard, taking up only 100 mm of depth behind the cockpit wall. With dimensions of 110 × 140 mm for the base plate, a lever length of 195 mm, and a maximum wall thickness of 12 mm, the B700SS single-lever control is ideally suited for flush side mounting on the boat.

Versatility and Expansion Options
Whether for outboards, saildrives, small mechanical inboards, or hydraulic transmissions – the Seastar B700SS single-lever control is suitable for a wide range of uses and adapts to various drive types. The option for a dual control station (Dual-Station functionality) emphasises its flexibility. For additional safety, a neutral safety switch can be retrofitted. The robust construction and precise ergonomics make the B700SS single-lever control a preferred control element in the sailing and boating industry.
