Product details

Horseshoe life ring made of polyethylene foam with SOLAS rescue light, railing mount, and washable nylon cover. Thanks to the wide opening, the horseshoe buoy is suitable for most body sizes. It has a buoyancy of 147 N. With its yellow cover and the marine signal light, the buoy is highly visible in an emergency. The surrounding rescue line aids in grasping and overall handling of the rescue buoy. The railing mount is easy to install and can be quickly removed if you need to change the buoy's position.

The product can only be used to a limited extent on sailing boats or can only be attached to the stern of certain types of sailing boats. Angled tube brackets or similar items could be of interest here as accessories.

Horseshoe lifebuoy makes a very stable impression, with a leash running around that can be opened at the front. Unfortunately it doesn't have a zipper for cleaning. Including holder and rescue light (without batteries) a very good price/performance ratio

Mit diesem Preis eine wahre Empfehlung!

Ring good, lamp scrap
The lifebuoy with the holder is good. The holder can be easily (only) attached to a pushpit or similar.
The emergency lamp that comes with it is the cheapest piece of junk! When the lamp hangs upside down in the holder, gravity is supposed to push the batteries away from a wire and into a spring. But that often doesn't work. Even when there is a lot of swell there is still contact and the lamp lights up or glows very slightly. This means that after a short time the battery will be empty anyway. Of course bad if you really need it. In addition, water always collected in the lamp.
I would be better off buying a single lifebuoy and a good marker buoy too!

The lifebuoy is relatively inexpensive. But it's also big and a bit unwieldy. The lamp seems pretty pointless to me. In an emergency, it will probably prevent the ring from being ejected. The coating should prevent rapid damage from UV radiation.
