I changed both the transmission and engine oil this year, and the pump worked well. However, you should allow plenty of time for 6 liters of engine oil. Even though the engine was warmed up, the extraction process still took a while. I have no way of comparing it to other pumps to see if it's faster.

Not only good for used oil

I have now bought the second pump (one for used oil and one for miscellaneous) because I have found that the pump can be used for different things. For example, if the bilge is full of water and the bilge pump is no longer working properly. Then you can pump out almost everything with this pump, leaving only a little for a sponge or rag. So it's a good product. Clearly recommend buying it!

Successfully drained the oil from the Golf 7

I bought the product to suck out the oil from the Golf 7, primarily to be able to reduce the oil level in the TDI when diluting the oil. I filled it with completely new oil and was able to suck out exactly the amount of oil that should be in the engine according to the technical data. With the flexible, yet solid metal flex rod, I was able to get to the bottom of the oil pan with ease. I am completely satisfied with the product.
