In addition to a 250 liter main tank (existing), 5 additional tanks (275 liters in total) were installed at various points in the boat. The pump is used to fill the additional tanks from the main tank and later empty them back into it if necessary. The pump must therefore be able to both pump and suck, as the diesel flows through the same line in either one direction (filling) or the other (emptying).
Easy to install. Delivery volumes within the specification.

Ok, here we go. the pump is very well made and the gearing is good, the viscosity has to be very high or the medium hot in order to pump, certainly where oil is to be processed. I filter the oil ISO46 Hydraulic oil to protect the brass precision gears, but I have the oil hot when transferring, I tried this cold and the fuse blew within 10 seconds due to overload protection, very good.I still require the oil to be hot even though it is 46 grade, possibly a 68 grade would be ok, have not tried this. I would suggest that this is good for diesel transfer cold but only use on oil when oil is hot.

The pump, used on board my sailboat to transfer diesel, operates silently and without the slightest vibration.
I plugged it into the cigarette lighter socket with a 2x1.5mm2 cable and 3 meters in length without any problem.
Priming is almost instantaneous (height 80 cm in my case).
The high flow rate allows 20 liters to be transferred in approximately 2 minutes.
The possibility of reversing the direction of transfer allows the piping to be drained towards the jerry can if the tank is full, which completely avoids spilling fuel.
I am very satisfied and I highly recommend this product, only intended for diesel.

I use it in bypass of a circuit of engine oil after passage in radiator like pump of circulation.

a priori, it's solid but I've lost 2 ... any lack of reliability in time or planned obsolescence .. ?????
