I have only tested it on a short trip. It is louder than I thought it would be. But it unfurled and furled my genoa a good deal faster than I can turn the winch by hand, and of course with very little effort. I don't have the strength and energy I used to have when I was younger, so it is comforting that I don't exhaust myself so much when winching. It will help me extend my sailing days.
