I bought the "ACCU winch crank" mainly for the better mountains from the large in the roll tree of my 39 Fussseglers bought .... the result was impressive already at the first try ..... one-handed Bergen and with the other hand evenly. ... a solid electric winch did not fit. Does what it's supposed to, I would buy it again

I had ordered a much more expensive competitor's device for single-handed hoisting of the mainsail. However, it wouldn't fit under my very flat sprayhood on the winch. So, despite all its drawbacks, I got this product and am satisfied with its performance so far. Although the manual states that you should never use the device to pull up the mast, my wife and I did just that (why not, when you carry a second halyard as a safety rope). The device pulled me (80 kg) up the mast without a hitch.

How long the device and the battery will last, of course, I won't be able to say for sure until after a few seasons.

No battery capacity indicator, battery is not replaceable.

I'm deducting a small 5 stars because we're all spoiled by our modern battery-powered devices. I miss a charge level indicator, which I consider state-of-the-art these days. Without the indicator, I have no idea how often I should recharge the device, and I can't try to only charge it to about 80% to conserve battery life. It's a shame.
