Good value for money
This pump perfectly replaced the original (old and leaking) raw water pump in my VP D2-40B. Mounting the pump was fairly easy, the most difficult part was removing the gear wheel from the shaft of the old pump as it was very stuck after 15 years of service. Remember to also order a new O-Ring.

Perfect
The pump was delivered fully assembled with impeller and cover gasket. All you have to do is order the O-ring and remove the gear wheel from the old pump and mount it on the new pump.

Looks pretty good
I have not fitted and used the pump yet but it looks like a quality product. It comes with an impeller fitted but this does not appear to have had any glycerine applied. It would be advisable to open and lubricate with glycerine before starting.

Impeller pump requires additional parts for installation!
The impeller pump is delivered without a seal and nut. No statement can yet be made about the material quality, but it does not look like bronze.

Hose connection too short
Unfortunately, the hose connectors are so short that you can only properly attach one clamp, and the second one only fits halfway. This is a disaster for a safety-critical part that sits below the water surface.

The sealing surfaces also still have a molded seam from the manufacturing process, which needs to be removed first.

The price is reasonable, but unfortunately, it has safety issues. I wouldn't buy it again.

Shaft leaking after 2 years
I didn't expect that. I replaced the old pump because it was leaking and dripping from the rear, i.e., from the shaft. Now this one is doing the same thing after just two seasons.
Unfortunately, I have to order a new one now because I can't get another one quickly.

seawater pump
After only 7 months, it started leaking from the seawater seal, and after disassembling it, I noticed that the stainless steel shaft had a scratch near the seal. I bought a new one, given the exorbitant price of spare parts, hoping for a manufacturing defect.

BEWARE OF THE CARRIER "UPS," totally incapable of delivering to the Ionian Sea! UPS France sends you to UPS Greece, and UPS Greece to something Greek-Bulgarian-Hungarian, and you have to be able to read Greek and speak English to TRY to get information about where the package is. So much wasted life time for such stupid things that cost us even more!!!!
