The rescue sling has been hanging on the stern for a few years, initially on our small boat (Etap 26i), where it was also important not to have a huge rescue sling on the pushpit. We practiced with the rescue sling a few times, and it got a bit spiky (inside) at first. It also hung on the stern on the current boat (31 feet), as it is really very easy to use. In particular, the unrolling of the line works perfectly. After several years, however, the whole thing was no longer attractive and not really easy to clean (nasty spiders), and the Velcro fasteners had lost a lot of their holding power. Since we are satisfied, we ordered the same product as a replacement.
