At least there is a gateway that works correctly

works very well for interfacing between PC and NMEA2000 network.

Very competent advice based on my needs and the product recommendation derived from this. Connection and function as predicted

We ordered the product online and received it within 24 hours. SVB couldn't have delivered faster – that was top-notch.

BUT

Getting the device working wasted 20 hours of pointless trial and error, tinkering, and countless hours of research that we had to do ourselves to get the thing working.

We DIDN'T GET IT TO WORK!

The SVB technical service team was incredibly disappointing and a bitter disappointment!

We contacted them with high hopes, only to be met with the disheartening response from service: "Unfortunately, we have absolutely no expertise in this area!" SVB, please document on the product page that customers are on their own with these parts and have to figure it out themselves, as SVB lacks the necessary expertise! That would be fair and transparent and should be included in the product description – otherwise, we would never have ordered the item from SVB!

This time, ordering from SVB and receiving the product was a complete disaster!

WARNING - this product is ONLY for Windows users. It doesn't work on Macs! How incompetent can you be?!

This should be clearly stated in the product description! Big thumbs down, SVB!
