Product details

The new NGX-1 generation from Actisense combines the power of the two previous generation products (NGT-1 and NGW-1) into one and acts as a gateway to convert NMEA 0183 into NMEA 200 data and vice-versa.

The Actisense NGX-1-ISO allows you to share data bi-directionally from NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 (and vice versa). This allows you, for example, to connect older NMEA0183-capable devices to modern NMEA2000 systems. Similarly, data from NMEA2000 sensors can be converted into NMEA0183 data and thus displayed on NMEA0183-compatible devices.

ISO version with fully isolated NMEA0183 input and output. Supports Fast Heading at 10Hz. The baud rate of the NMEA0183 input and output can be changed from, for example, 4,800 to 38,400 (AIS) baud using the Actisense Toolkit software. Please note that this requires a PC with a serial interface (incl. SUB connector) or a corresponding USB to serial converter cable.
