Pumpe läuft gut! Nur bitte bei der Bestellung angeben ob man die links- oder rechtshändige Pumpe haben möchte! bei der Pumpe, die mir geliefert wurde, waren die Anschlüsse vorne, statt hiten (wie abgebildet). Leider bietet SVB diese Wahlmöglichkeit nicht. Ich würde in Zukunft das Ding nur telefonisch bestellen, damit dann auch die richtige Pumpe kommt :).

Anmerk. SVB: Durch lösen der Gehäuseschrauben lassen sich die Anschlüsse in die gewünschte Lage verstellen. Nicht vergessen die Schrauben wieder anzuziehen :).

10 Jahre sind jetzt drei von diesen phantastischen Pumpen bei uns an Bord - und wir leben permanent auf dem Schiff, dementsprechend häufig werden sie benutzt. Wir haben kein Druckwassersystem, die drei Pumpen fördern Frischwasser in Pantry und Bad und Seewasser in der Pantry. Einzige Schwachstelle ist die Verschraubung direkt neben der Pedalachse. Wenn man die selbstschneidenden Schrauben dort erstmal durch Gewindeschrauben mit Muttern ersetzt hat, ist Ruhe. Nach zehn Jahren ist jetzt bei der meistbenutzten die Feder gebrochen. Reparatursätze erst später kaufen, braucht man erst nach langer Zeit und das Gummi wird durch die Lagerung nicht besser.

It crunches!

For 32 years, our old Gusher foot pump served us faithfully, quietly and effectively. In the last two months, it started to creak and soon began leaking. We needed a replacement!

The new foot pump has been creaking and groaning from day one, sounding like it's about to fall apart. There's no way it will last 32 years! I wonder if Whale is using cheaper components now?

The old pump of the same type was defective and needed to be replaced quickly. SVB delivered promptly. The new pump was installed, and it was already leaking after just one day.

I'm not used to this kind of behavior from SVB, so I filed a complaint with customer service. Only after a phone inquiry did they respond. It would have been just bad luck and a "Monday-old" device. I would receive a replacement after returning it and having it inspected.

A somewhat disappointing statement...

Dass der Montag zu oft als Argument herhalten muss, ist unstrittig. Es ist auch möglich, dass der Defekt bei Transport oder Lagerung entstanden ist. Grundsätzlich steht Ihnen schnellstmöglicher, kostenloser Ersatz zu.

The foot pump is already leaking after the third season! I am very disappointed, but I have to buy it again because I don't have the space for another product and all the holes are designed that way. I use it as a salt water pump in my pantry. I disassembled it. The rubber membranes seem to be OK. I re-greased it and reassembled it. Same effect -(.

Foot pump already defective after 3 years

Rarely used foot pump already leaking. After unscrewing it, I found that the seal was cracked. Probably got stuck during assembly. The black foot pedal rubs off incredibly!

Die Pumpe funktioniert seit drei Jahren im täglicen Gebrauch gut, mit einer Einschränkung: die Achse, an welcher der Hebel für die Fuss-Bedienung gelagert ist, verschiebt sich regelmässig und muss dann wieder zurückgesetzt werden.
