Total chaos at UPS
I have been a customer of yours for many years – and have never had any reason to complain.
The order was placed on May 11th and was delivered today, May 20th, by UPS.
I consider this an unusually long wait, especially considering it was a public holiday.
Initially, UPS announced delivery for May 13th.
We waited in vain.
Then UPS changed the delivery date to May 15th.
The delivery didn't arrive on May 15th either.
Since we wanted to use the product over the weekend, we then bought it locally at Bauhaus.
Then delivery was supposed to take place on Monday.
I believe UPS's claim that delivery was impossible is a pretext. Today, the package was simply left on the doorstep. That would have been possible on any other day as well.
Should UPS attempt to prove a delivery attempt based on the vehicle's GPS data, I find this implausible.
1. There was no UPS notification in the mailbox (located right next to the front door).
2. A neighbor observed during another delivery attempt that the driver stopped briefly in front of the parking lot but did not get out and drove off after a few seconds. He also received a notification that the package could not be delivered.
