I've tried various pumps over the years. None of them lasted and performed as well as the parmax3. The boat is 3 pumps, one of them.just gave up, so i also plan to replace it with par max 3.
The pump arrived in nice packaging with a coiled PVC hose. And that's the problem. Even after weeks of hanging and squeezing, this hose refuses to lose its deformations, which reduce its cross-section by half. For a truly good vibratory pump, a permanently flexible spiral hose should definitely be used. These cheap hoses tend to harden over time. That's what happened with my old pump. It's now a stiff, rigid tube.
Because of the missing base strip, the battery cannot be secured with the usual retaining clips. The first nice photo shows the batteries with a base strip, but obviously not all of them! The detailed technical documentation then reveals that the 110Ah battery, for example, doesn't have one. I was misled, so to speak, because I didn't look properly!
