Product details

The 2nd generation DST810 plastic through-hull transducer reliably and precisely measures depth, speed and temperature readings in the water. The second generation DST810 incorporates a re-designed paddle wheel sensor for improved accuracy and low-speed performance. The transducer is able to accurately measure slow speeds of 0.3 knots, as well as fast speeds of up to 45 knots, and with NMEA2000 and Bluetooth connectivity, a variety of ways to display data is possible. The DST810 Gen2 also features an integrated vessel attitude sensor, which measures heel and trim data, and can be used to calibrate speed-through-water. The DST810 Gen2 sensor can also be calibrated quickly and easily via the Bluetooth interface using the Airmar Cast app, making the sensor independent of other onboard instruments. The device can measure depths up to 100 m, speeds up to 45 knots and temperatures up to +40 °C. A 5 Hz signal output ensures smooth playback on your display device.

Wireless connection via Bluetooth also allows easy calibration of sensor data via the Airmar Cast app.

DST 810 Exactly as a replacement of the previous model

Fits into the existing through-hull.
Works well.
Setting depth and speed is a bit tricky, as the buttons are somewhat hidden.
However, you can also calibrate the device via the B&G Triton display menu. It's a bit easier.

Airman DST 810 gen2 My new sensor has been installed. I have now lost the history of my logged miles. This reappears when the old log is re connected but goes to zero with the new sensor in place. Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone know of a work around? Thanks in anticipation. Graeme

Hello Graeme, as all data is stored inside the sensor, this behavior seems normal. When you install a new DST810, it starts with no stored log history. Only the old sensor still contains the data recorded before. I’m not aware of any way to transfer this data between sensors. Best regards, SVB-Team Bremen

Dear Sencer, the transducer is compatible with all devices with a NMEA-2000 connection. Most current Garmin chart plotters have this interface. You only need the starter kit between the sensor and the chart plotter if it is not already installed. The starter kit is our reference #85422#
