Axiom 7 Fast delivery! Very easy assembly! Attention, the mini SD card can only be inserted from the rear. You need a card reader. Everything else was great. Very easy network integration even for beginners. Wifi works perfectly with the appropriate apps. Problem-free update via WLAN in the port.

Good multifunctional display with all kinds of functions. I installed two of them in my boat; Inside and outside. It is used to navigate outside and operate the autopilot. Inside, the part provides the perfect overview of all data available in the network (tank fill levels, air pressure, position, AIS info, anchor alarm,). Nervi is that the part is supplied with a NMEA2000 connection and thus an adapter is required again for integration into a Raymarine STNG network. Thus Raymarine is not compatible with Raymarine ad hoc.

Thanks to the new LightHouse 3 operating system and blazing fast quad-core processors, this multifunction display boasts excellent performance. In addition, the AXIOM is expandable so its capabilities can grow as needed.

Lightning-fast performance at the touch of a finger

Clear app icons make orientation easier, a simple swipe across the multifunctional display activates the sidebar with the data display.
Using drag and drop, the data fields can be positioned anywhere on the screen in different sizes.
The homepage with the user profile and personal configuration can be saved permanently on the device. With just a few finger touches you can take control via touchscreen.

The chartplotter can also be adapted to individual requirements. Clear menus also provide quick access to the various chart modes.
Simply placing the tip of your finger on the chart is enough to position the cursor.

New LightHouse 3 operating system

The new operating system Lighthouse 3 is already preinstalled on all Axiom devices. Operation is completely without buttons and done by means of gesture controls.
The display is switched on and off via a sensor field on the display. Thanks to excellent processor performance, the operating system is blazing fast.
Easy to read and customize according to your personal preferences, navigation with the AXIOM has never been easier.

Network & Connection

For integration into an existing network or creating a new network, the AXIOM units have NMEA2000 and Ethernet interfaces.
The devices also feature a microUSB port, integrated WiFi and Bluetooth.

Great device with one drawback!

The display is great, the feel is good, the device has a very high quality finish, only one thing bothers me! If you fix somewhere and want to take the Axiom with you, you have to loosen the screws and remove all cables, that's annoying, I praise the technology from Garmin. Axiom 7

Operation is intuitive. The device gives a stable, high-quality impression. The display is easy to read. The practical test is still pending. The app for remote viewing with Android devices was last updated in 2017 and does not run on current devices, which I think is a shame and not appropriate for a device in this price range. I also miss a German instruction manual. Up to now, I was of the opinion that operating instructions in the national language are mandatory for devices sold in the EU.

Hello SVB team, I'm contacting you in order to ask some questions about an order I'm about to make. Regarding the Raymarine Axion series, I'm looking for the 7" display. Can you explain me the difference between the Axion and the Axion+? After buying the unit, what extra accessories I need to buy to get the chartplotter up for use? Do I need to buy a GPS antenna or that's included? In order to get the pure depth representation, do I need to buy a transducer or that's included to? In the order I'm preparing, I also will have one 70amps battery and a 110amps battery. I have the boat now in France, in Cherbourg. Can you tell me the delivery time for a heavy order like this to that location? Best regards and thank you for your help, Rodrigo Eloi

Hello Rodrigo, the Axiom+ is the newer model, the successor so to speak. The Axiom+ has a quad-core processor (Axiom Dual-Core), a high density IPS touchscreen (Axiom not), 1024 x 600 px (Axiom 800 x 480 px) and additionally the Axiom+ has a hydrophobic HydroTough display. The GPS antenna is built into the device. The device only needs to be connected to a 12 volt on-board power supply for operation. Of course, it is advisable to buy an optional nautical chart, as this provides details of the respective sea area. To simply display the depth as a digital number on the plotter, you will need an NMEA-2000 depth transducer and an NMEA-2000 starter kit (if not already available). I will answer any other questions that have nothing to do with the Axiom plotter by e-mail.
