DIGITAL YACHT veKonvert Victron VE.Direct to NMEA2000 Gateway / Micro-C

veKonvert from Digital Yacht is the latest innovation in the field of NMEA 2000 interfaces and was designed in conjunction with Victron Energy. This interface enables the seamless integration of VE.Direct-compatible devices such as SmartShunt, BMV battery monitoring devices and MPPT solar charge controllers into existing NMEA 2000 systems.

Compared to previous solutions that required the use of a sophisticated Cerbo module, veKonvert is a lower cost, simpler solution. Ideal for smaller installations, the Digital Yacht veKonvert enables the display of electrical data such as charging currents and battery capacities on a chart plotter or multifunction display (MFD) without the need for expensive hardware.

PLEASE NOTE - veKonvert is not compatible with Victron chargers and inverters. It should also not be plugged in to the VE.Direct interfaces of any Victron inverters/chargers such as Multiplus, Quattro, Cerbo etc.

Installation is extremely simple: Connect the device to a free T in your NMEA 2000 network and plug into the ve.Direct custom connector on the SmartShunt and you can then integrate the electrical data into your NMEA 2000 network in no time at all.

With veKonvert, integrating electrical data into your NMEA 2000 system has never been easier - a cost-effective solution for smooth data transmission in small installations.

This gateway enables efficient battery management and solar charge monitoring directly on compatible chartplotters, including Raymarine, Garmin, Navico, Furuno and many more (see compatibility list). Most chart plotters are able to display the battery voltage, charge/discharge current, charge status and remaining battery capacity in real time.

Thanks to an intelligent algorithm, the ve.Direct adapter provides precise information such as battery voltage, charge/discharge current, state of charge and the time remaining until the battery is dead. This ensures optimum control over your energy management. It also generates NMEA 2000 alerts from any BMV or SmartShunt to keep you informed at all times.
