Product details

This engine room soundproof panelling is made of a soft foam based on polyether covered with aluminium-metallised PES film. The panelling is protected against dust, water and oil penetration and is easy to clean. A bitumen sheet is sandwiched between two layers of special foam, which provides optimal sound insulation. The self-adhesive insulating panel reflects heat radiation and is temperature resistant from -40°C to +100°C.

Insulating panel 32 mm: 25 mm foam / 2 mm bitumen / 5 mm foam, weight: 2 kg

Note: to fix butt joints we recommend tesa - aluminium tape

Good product and good features

Good product and good properties. Can still cut well despite the bitumen layer. Have used an old bread knife and pre-cut the film with a craft knife. Thanks for the good advice.
