Product details

This engine room soundproof panelling is made of a soft foam based on polyether covered with aluminium-metallised PES film. The panelling is protected against dust, water and oil penetration and is easy to clean. A bitumen sheet is sandwiched between two layers of special foam, which provides optimal sound insulation. The self-adhesive insulating panel reflects heat radiation and is temperature resistant from -40°C to +100°C.

Insulating panel 32 mm: 25 mm foam / 2 mm bitumen / 5 mm foam, weight: 2 kg

Note: to fix butt joints we recommend tesa - aluminium tape

The insulating mats are very effective despite the small thickness. With an electric bread knife, they can be cut very well and the adhesive keeps excellent on painted surfaces. For untreated wood, a spray adhesive should also be applied.
